Responsibilities of Physical Therapist:
Evaluate and ensure the patient’s plan of care.
Oversees Physical Therapy Assistants providing guidance, discussing progress, and monitoring clinical interventions/skills.
Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques needed to achieve patients’ goals.
Follows all regulations and guidelines of the facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
Adheres to discussed scheduled hours.
Provides skilled documentation of patient’s condition, and provides caregiver/patient education, progress, and need for services.
Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patients’ engagement and responses to treatment and modify as necessary.
Requirements for Physical Therapist:
Valid Physical Therapy license
Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
