Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Interior Designer role located in the New York City. The Interior Designer will oversee space planning, collaborate on construction and architectural drawings, and design interiors consistent with the studio's aesthetic. Responsibilities also include selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), managing project timelines, and maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and understanding of Interior Design principles
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience with Construction Drawings
- Expertise in FF&E selection, sourcing, and procurement
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, Lumion or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with luxury residential projects and knowledge of luxury market preferred
