Position: Student Staff Sonographer
FTE: Casual, 10% FTE

Position Overview: The student sonographer provides assistance in noninvasive cardiac and vascular testing under the direct supervision of a staff sonographer. This individual complies with the department policy and procedures. This individual in enrolled in a cardiovascular ultrasound program. The position includes direct patient care, access to confidential patient and organizational information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Educational Degree: Technical Training
Major/Area of Concentration: Cardiovascular Sonography
Preferred Education: Individual must be enrolled in an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program.
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: De-escalation training within 6 months.

Required Experience: 2nd year student from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program
