CT Technologist (Reg CT Technologist)
Full time : 80% - Days- weekend rotation
Location: Adena Pike Medical Center, Waverly Ohio 45690
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality, cross-sectional diagnostic images. This role works closely with Radiologists, Supervisors, and departmental staff to develop and follow imaging protocols while providing exceptional patient care. The CT Technologist works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Supervisor and is entrusted with confidential patient information and independent clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Position patients safely and accurately for procedures
Follow established imaging protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with radiologists and radiology team members
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with regulations
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and during procedures
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensure & Certifications (Required)
Current ARRT (RRT) certification
Active Ohio Radiologic License
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
New graduates must:
Have passed the ARRT registry exam prior to start date
Be eligible for Ohio Department of Health licensure before start
Obtain Ohio license within 14 days of employment
Complete de-escalation training within 6 months
Experience
1–2 years of prior CT experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Registered CT Technologist certification through ARRT (CT)
