Position Highlights:
Position: Registered Nurse (RN/LPN) - Medical Surgical Unit
Salary: Hourly rate based on years of nursing experience/education
Work Life Balance: Full time, 3-12 hour shifts. Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) - Every other weekend rotation. Holiday rotation
Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 for Med Surg

What You’ll Do
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our vision: To be our regions’ most trusted partner in healthcare. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities for assigned hospital patients,
participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical
support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff as directed by the Registered Nurse.
The LPN provides direct patient care to individuals and performs patient observation, data collection related to
patient care, administers medication, treatment and procedures, implements the plan of nursing care and
communicates findings to the supervising RN to achieve optimal outcomes for patients. The LPN is responsible
for functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
