What You’ll Do
The Staff Sonographer provides noninvasive vascular/cardiac testing using ultrasound skills and other noninvasive testing modalities knowledge. This individual collaborates with customers to assure quality testing. The incumbent has access to confidential information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with customers. This individuals works under the direct supervision of the manager. Provides services at multiple sites as needed. On-call work as needed. Works with patients of all ages.
Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Major/Area of Concentration: Allied Health Sciences Preferred Education: 2-year Allied Health Degree
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: RDCS and RVT - Registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or RCS and RVS - Registered through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Both credentials must be completed within one year of graduation according to accreditation standards. BLS - Basic Life Support. De-escalation training within 6 months.
