Your Role at a Glance
- As a Certified Athletic Trainer at Adena, you’ll play a vital role in supporting athletes of all ages, from school sports teams to injured workers transitioning back to the job. You’ll work in a variety of environments—from the sidelines to the clinic—delivering injury prevention, rehabilitation, wellness education, and fitness programming.
What You'll Do
- Deliver sports medicine care at games, practices, and in clinical settings
- Evaluate, treat, and help rehabilitate athletic and work-related injuries
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and school staff to ensure safe return-to-play or work
- Assist with strength and conditioning programs, casting, bracing, and transitional work programs
- Lead wellness and injury prevention classes in the community
- Support school-based and clinic-based patient care, including physician office assistance
- Flex your schedule to meet the needs of athletes, patients, and school events (some evenings/weekends required)
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with current Ohio license or eligibility
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for education, movement, and health
- Comfort with a flexible, community-focused schedule
