Compensation: $20.25-$25.55 per hour depending on education

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.


• Maintain safety and order using approved crisis‑prevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.


• Participate in de‑escalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.


• Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

Because this role involves working with older and sometimes physically aggressive youth, candidates must be able to:

• Safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200 pounds, using approved techniques.


• Stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.


• Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention / restraint training and pass any required physical abilities assessment.
