Make a Difference in Children’s Lives as a Registered Nurse or LPN at Adelphoi!
Adelphoi is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN for our Latrobe, PA location. This is a daylight, Monday–Friday position with some flexibility in hours required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce policies related to Medication Management.
- Train staff monthly in Oral/Non-Oral Medication Administration and Adelphoi’s Health Policy.
- Maintain staff medication administration recertification.
- Educate clients, staff, and families on disease processes, medications, and treatments.
- Conduct audits for Medication Cart and Infection Control Surveillance and Prevention.
- Oversee medication management for youth in group living settings.
- Triage, assess, and treat chronic and acute medical needs of youth.
- Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed interventions.
- Perform health assessments and provide recommendations.
- Complete required reports and nurse’s notes promptly.
- Intervene in crisis situations and maintain certification in Safe Crisis Management.
- Travel monthly to four Latrobe Secure Homes (10% travel; mileage reimbursement provided).
- Participate in on-call rotation for medical triage (stipend and flex time provided).
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor or Associate of Science in Nursing (BSN or ADN) required for RN or appropriate certification for LPN
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in youth or psychiatric care settings.
- Licensure: current RN license valid in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required for RN
