Join Our Team as a Youth Counselor in Cogan Station!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young individuals? Adelphoi is hiring youth counselors. We provide a 4-week rotating schedule which includes day, afternoon, and weekend shifts. We’re conveniently located in Cogan Station, PA.

Compensation: $20.25-$25.55 per hour depending on education
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.
- Maintain safety and order using approved crisis‑prevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.
- Participate in de‑escalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.
Physical and Safety Requirements:
Because this role involves working with older and sometimes physically aggressive youth, candidates must be able to:
- Safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200 pounds, using approved techniques.
- Stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.
- Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention / restraint training and pass any required physical abilities assessment.
