Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general surgery call coverage 24 hours per shift with a 2-hour callback time
- Perform emergency surgeries including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and GI endoscopy as needed
- Coordinate with 24-hour CRNA coverage for anesthesia support
- Utilize lab and imaging services available 24/7 for patient management
- Manage assigned patient rounding and follow-up care during call periods
