Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to provide physical therapy support services for a school district in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist students in achieving gross motor development, mobility, and functional goals as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements :
Must hold a valid Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Experience working with children, preferably in school settings.
Knowledge of gross motor development, adaptive equipment, and therapy techniques.
Ability to follow therapy plans designed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with school teams and caregivers.
Responsibilities :
Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting evaluations of students’ gross motor skills, mobility, and physical functioning.
Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
Monitor student progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to support students’ therapy goals.
Assist in training school personnel on the proper use of adaptive equipment.
Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district policies.
Ensure therapy services align with the frequency and intensity specified in the IEP.
Maintain effective communication with supervising Physical Therapists, school teams, and parents.
Adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards for all communication and documentation.
