Required Credentials
- Active, valid Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico.
- CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal and functional assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Prescribe and supervise therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
- Deliver hands-on interventions (manual therapy) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Utilize therapeutic modalities and recommend appropriate assistive devices or adaptive equipment.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, safety, and home programs.
- Accurately document evaluations, interventions, progress, and discharge summaries in the medical record.
