- Experience: Experience in General GI; ERCP certification highly preferred
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation required.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for Gastroenterology service, including in-house rounding and procedures.
- Round on hospitalized GI patients (average 5-6 per day) and conduct new consults (1-2 per day).
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, Banding, Polypectomy, etc.; ERCP preferred).
- Manage acute GI bleeding and other emergent GI conditions.
- Collaborate with RNs and CRNAs in Endoscopy suite; no supervision of APPs.
