- Patient Volume/Census: Approx. 19,000 annually (~52/day)
- Case Mix: General emergency medicine
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff Available: 10 hours daily of NP/PA coverage
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
- General emergency medicine procedures
- Advanced airway management
- Wound care and laceration repair
- Licenses: Active Mississippi license required
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty
- DEA: Active DEA Certification required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred
- Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Work 12-hour shifts alongside NP/PA support
- Accurately document all encounters in Epic
- Collaborate with nursing and advanced practice staff
- Adhere to hospital policies and emergency care protocols
