What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Adelinas?
A Server is responsible for managing the guest’s overall dining experience by providing prompt, attentive table service. This role will support the guests’ dining experience and will be in communication with service and kitchen team and serving guests in an efficient manner. At Adelinas we are looking for a positive and committed server to take on this role and join our team!
Lunch, dinner and weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
Guest Service
- Ensure all guests consistently receive courteous and efficient service.
- Respond positively and promptly to customer concerns and complaints.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring and evaluating food beverage and service offerings.
- Communicate any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff.
- Maintain a welcoming and orderly restaurant environment.
- Build relationships with repeat guests.
Personnel
- Ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
- Participate in restaurant service and team trainings.
- Ensure consistent communication with team members, management, and the kitchen during service.
- Demonstrate ability to aid co-workers during service while successfully maintaining responsibilities.
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours
