General Description of Duties: The primary duties of the Nurse-RN includes but are not limited to:
- Coordinate health care services for individuals on the DD Waiver per DDSD Standards.
- Train staff on health care protocols and practices.
- Write and update individualized health care plans.
- Conduct nursing visits and attend doctor appointments.
- Participate in IDT and ISP meetings for client care coordination.
- Maintain medication administration and treatment records.
- Oversee LPNs and support the nursing team as an RN.
Education and Training:
- RN certification as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico required.
- Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and other trainings/certifications as required.
- One year experience working with disabled individuals, including those with severe/profound disabilities, strongly preferred.
Other Requirements: Must pass TB test and background check. Must have own reliable transportation, valid NM driver’s license, insurable driving record and proof of current liability insurance. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, carry, and perform keyboarding/typing tasks frequently. Must be able to squat, reach above shoulder(s), kneel, balance, push, pull and lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be sufficiently mobile to visit various sites without prior notice. Job: Full-Time or Part-Time | Monday thru Friday with rotating on-call weekends shifts!
Pay: $35.00 per hour. DOE.
