Office Assistant Part-Time

Position Purpose
Focused on supporting ADM's mission to engaging all students in a challenging and supportive environment that ensures all students learn at high levels.

Location: MIddle School Office

Hours will be 7:30a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday

Salary range will be $16.15-$17.95 depending on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Proficient typing and filing skills.
• Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to work under the stresses of interruption and varying schedule.
• Ability to work well with staff, parents, and students.

Essential Functions:

• Processes reports, notices and recommendations, and letters as directed by Principal's Assistant.
• Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts same into usable form.
• Operates copier as requested by principal and faculty.
• Receives and routes incoming telephone calls, takes messages as needed
• Utilizes office communication systems: building intercom, CB radio, E-Mail
• Provides support when the Administrative Assistant is way or on break.
• Welcomes visitors and screens unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
• Maintains student records as required with confidentiality.

• Other duties as assigned.
