LOCATION: Bolingbrook TITLE: Laser Printer Operator SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 2:30PM - 11:00PM PAY: $21.00-$24.00/hr Responsibilities for Laser Printer Operator jobs include but are not limited to: Operate cut sheet digital printing on toner and inkjet production printers. Perform manual and automated booklet making. Operate high and medium-speed mail enclosing equipment. Conduct manual hand sorting and enclosing. Use guillotines and cutting equipment for finishing tasks. Set up mail inserting equipment in accordance with job instructions. Load correct components onto machines per job specifications. Perform regular and detailed quality checks on all components and finished envelopes to ensure quality standards are met. Record and reconcile daily work to meet ISO standards and job instructions. Ensure all related procedures are followed within established guidelines. Escalate any non-conformance issues related to jobs or schedules. Perform basic machine maintenance to maintain proper machine performance. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Laser Printer Operator jobs: Preferred: Minimum of six months’ experience in digital printing or two years’ experience running production inserting equipment. Machine operator experience required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Basic PC skills. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing work environment. Ability to identify and communicate process improvements to supervisor. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
