On-Site | Manufacturing | Near Murfreesboro, TN
This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on Quality Engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants real ownership of quality outcomes. You’ll lead the site’s quality function, shape strategy, influence customers, and drive measurable improvements across scrap, processes, and compliance. - Own the site-wide quality function, providing leadership and direction to quality engineers, inspectors, technicians, and support staff. Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Own Quality Performance & Results
- Establish, monitor, and report on key quality metrics. Drive measurable improvements in scrap reduction, process capability, and customer satisfaction through data-driven decision-making.
- Drive Root Cause & Corrective Action Excellence
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and systemic problem-solving efforts that eliminate repeat issues and strengthen long-term process stability.
- Ensure Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Oversee internal audits and ensure ongoing compliance with IATF standards and customer requirements. Serve as the site quality authority during customer and third-party audits.
- Be the Voice of Quality with Customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships, lead quality-related communications, and proactively address concerns to protect trust and long-term partnerships.
- Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to align quality objectives with production goals and business strategy. Provide quality support to other regional sites as needed.
- Manage the Business of Quality
- Develop and manage the quality department budget and P&L, ensuring resources are aligned to business priorities and improvement initiatives.

- Strong working knowledge of audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement tools
- Leadership Style
- Confident, visible leader comfortable on the plant floor
- Ability to influence across functions and levels, from operators to executives
- Work Requirements
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week
