Job Title: Associate Transportation Planner

Pay: $32.00 per hour - Weekly pay!
Adecco Staffing is seeking an Associate Transportation Planner to support our clients operations. This role is responsible for analyzing transportation and distribution networks to improve service levels, reduce freight costs, and increase overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Review daily orders for accuracy and ensure proper routing
Build efficient single- and multi-stop truckloads with a focus on cost and on-time delivery
Tender loads to awarded contract carriers for customer and inter-company shipments
Identify and evaluate new carriers that add value to transportation operations
Collaborate with planners and schedulers to maximize truck utilization and weight
Schedule delivery appointments with customers
Support transportation processes that improve efficiency and maintain competitiveness in refrigerated freight
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in transportation, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of the transportation industry, rate structures, and current trends
Familiarity with SAP preferred
Experience in food or meat transportation a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay Details: $32.00 per hour
