About the Role
Adecco is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer in Las Cruces, NM for a well-established financial institution. This position is responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans while ensuring an exceptional member experience from application through closing. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, service-driven, and experienced in all aspects of mortgage lending.
Responsibilities
Originate, evaluate, and process mortgage loan applications in compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Provide professional guidance to members regarding mortgage products, rates, and terms.
Analyze applicants’ financial data, credit, and property evaluations to determine loan eligibility.
Coordinate loan closings and maintain communication with members, realtors, and other third-party service providers.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation.
Maintain knowledge of all loan products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines.
Participate in mortgage-related and community events during business hours and after hours, including evenings and weekends.
Achieve and exceed production goals while maintaining compliance with internal policies and lending regulations.
Maintain compliance with policies and applicable laws, including BSA, AML, CFT, MIP, and OFAC requirements.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in finance, business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of mortgage lending experience required.
Strong knowledge of conventional, government, and secondary market lending guidelines.
Familiarity with Texas and New Mexico real estate laws and title insurance regulations.
Must be NMLS registered and meet all Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong member-service focus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for community or offsite events.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
