1st or 2nd Shift: (7am -3:30pm OR 4:30pm - 12:30am) - PORTLAND, CT

We’re hiring 2 Cutter/Grinder Operators to sharpen and build precision cutting tools in a clean, organized shop.
What You’ll Do

• Sharpen milling cutters, drills, taps, and turning tools

• Manufacture special form cutters

• Monitor machines, gauges, and dials to ensure accuracy

• Inspect parts and record quality results

• Perform routine machine maintenance

What’s Required

• Experience with tool grinding or precision machining

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to read prints and understand manufacturing processes

• Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and depth gauges

• Solid shop math skills

• GD&T knowledge is a plus

Pay & Benefits

• $18.50 to $30/hour (based on experience)

• 15% shift differential (2nd shift)
