We are seeking Project Engineer to join our team. With little or no supervision, the Level III Engineer designs, performs and oversees engineering, design and construction of remedial systems and performs general design services. The Project Engineer will report the Reginal Manager and is accountable to the Senior Staff.
This person should have strong client relationships in California and/or Colorado and broad experience with environmental-focused projects, project management, site assessment, characterization, remediation and understanding of groundwater extraction and treatment systems.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000

Essential Job Functions Include
- Preparation of project documents in accordance with client requirements and Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures.
- Primary contact and interface with client and regulators.
- Provide technical oversight on project specific engineering requirements.
- Designs and oversees engineering projects.
- Management of remediation system operation and maintenance projects
- Manages assigned projects; including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management and provides high level consulting and support on assigned projects.
- Participate in the proposal and budget creation process.
- Supervises the Level I and II staff remotely or occasionally on site.
- Experience with vapor mitigation systems and HVAC systems a plus
- All other duties as assigned.
- Professional Engineering Registration (PE) preferred
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPR
- Valid Driver’s License
- 2 years of experience in Project Management
- 5-10 years of professional consulting experience in Site Assessment, Characterization and Remediation
- Experience and understanding of groundwater extraction and treatment systems
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to mentor junior staff
