POSITION SUMMARY:
As the operations leader at ADDMAN, you’ll be at the forefront of aerospace and additive manufacturing technologies. In this role you will be leading and growing our production and quality teams to deliver flight and development hardware of the highest quality. This is a key site leadership role that will require frequent interaction with company leadership up through the board of directors. Your other main duties will include being the site leader for implementation of a new ERP, MES, and QMS , scheduling and overseeing maintenance, installation and repair of machines and facilities, developing and maintaining a powder inventory system, and working with program management and sales to strengthen and grow our internal and external supply chain.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and improve the safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.
- Lead production team that is responsible for printing, post-processing, inspection, and shipping of all development, flight, and end use hardware.
- Own the scheduling of all production assets, interfacing with engineering, sales, and program management to provide time estimates for prospective and ongoing work.
- Work with program management team to coordinate external vendor/site operations into production.
- Collaborate with engineering to source and maintain powder and consumable inventory.
- Develop and own machine and facility maintenance plan.
- Work with engineering, company leadership, and machine OEMs to procure and install additional capacity and capabilities such as CNC 5-axis machining, heat treatment, and coatings.
- Lead and grow the quality organization, facilitate and ensure preparedness for AS9100 audits, implement QMS ensuring integration with MES and ERP systems.
- Assist with assessment, procurement, and implementation of an additive MES system.
- Provide feedback to sales and engineering to aid with quotation and proposal development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Previous additive manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of machining and other post-process operations.
- Previous aerospace experience
- Previous supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with ERP, MES, and QMS systems
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role is in an automated manufacturing environment at our Glen Burnie, MD location.
