Junior AP Accountant

Position:      Jr. Accountant / AP Specialist

Location:      New Rochelle, NY

Salary:          $50K-$55K

Growing Non-Profit trade organization seeks new AP focused Jr. Accountant to join their team

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for scanning and entering AP receipts into the Bill.com system ensuring the correct coding. Responsible for the monthly upload and reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger.

·       Works and manages vendor relationships, vendor statement analysis as needed.

§ Responsible for credit cards coding, receipt tracking, as needed working in conjunction with the accounting/finance manager.

§ Manages the Ramp platform to ensure that the coding is completed and uploaded in a timely manner.

§ Responsible for entry of bills, including review of coding and allocations into bill.com

§ Responsible for working out a schedule for processing payments on a weekly basis, in conjunction with cash flow.

§ Scans, deposits, and records checks in the accounting system.

Qualifications

·       College degree or relevant work experience required.

·       2 years of experience of automated Accounts payable experience

·       2 years of experience supporting accounts payable functions (Billpay.com software experience a plus)

·       Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

·       Clean background check required
