Junior Accountant

Job Title:                 Staff Accountant

Location:                  Patterson, NJ

Salary:                       60k - 65k Bonus

Stable NJ Distributor seeks a Junior Accountant to join their Team

Responsibilities:

·        Assist the Controller during the monthly accounting close process

·        Prepare and enter journal entries as required.

·        Review and approve AP vouchers

·        Process billing on a daily basis.

·        Review and process board bills ACH transfers weekly.

·        AP and AR back-up

·        Prepare bank reconciliations as required.

·        Review account analysis for discrepancies.

·        File accounting documents.

·        Maintain internal and external records retention.

·        Update Key Stats Report daily.

·        Monthly inventory reviews of Inventory

Qualifications:

·        Accounting or Finance Degree.

·        1-2 years’ experience

·        Prior experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

·        Intermediate Excel desired
