SUMMARY:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration and implementation of critical IT applications supporting Core Banking Systems. This role requires an understanding of system architecture, configuration, and support functions, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams. The Systems Analyst will perform systems integration, performance optimization, and the implementation of new technologies to support the credit union’s objectives
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of Credit Union core systems, including:-
Core Processor
Customer Relationship Manager
Document Repository
Cash Management
Loan Origination and Servicing
Account Opening
Enterprise Automation
Fraud Detection

Partner with business units, vendors, and IT staff to optimize system performance and support business objectives.
Develop and refine complex reports to meet organizational needs, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret data insights and support decision-making.
Lead the installation, testing, and deployment of software updates, patches, and system enhancements, including the evaluation of new technologies and their impact on existing systems.
Manage small to medium-sized projects, providing leadership and technical guidance to team members. Track project milestones, ensure deadlines are met, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation for software/hardware configurations, support processes, and issue resolutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Act as a primary point of contact for vendors, managing service agreements and coordinating support to resolve technical issues effectively.
Provide Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues, guiding Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams and troubleshooting complex issues in a timely manner.
Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and stability of critical applications.
Performs other duties as might be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- HS diploma or GED
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting, managing, or administering Financial or Business Applications, preferably in a banking or credit union environment.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
Ability to work on-call or after-hours as needed for software implementations, upgrades, or critical issue resolutions.
Any applicable system or program knowledge:
Proficient in reviewing and creating PowerOn programming stories for customizing Symitar workflows and reports.
Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
Project management experience, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or VBScript.
Understanding of networking, server infrastructure, and data security as it relates to financial systems.

Physical demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.
- Occasional lifting of IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Frequent use of hands to operate computer and office equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods when assisting users or during training sessions.
- Bending, reaching, and squatting may be required to troubleshoot hardware in various office environments.
- Must have the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet) and the ability to adjust focus when working with computers and other equipment.
- Occasional travel may be required to support remote offices or off-site locations, including local travel within the service area.
