Job: Staff Accountant (AP/AR)

Location: San Mateo, CA

Hourly Pay: $40 - $45 / hour depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our heath-tech client is looking for a dynamic Staff Accountant to join the team. This is a multi-entity environment with multiple currencies. This is a contract role that will run for three months with the possibility to extend.

Job Description:

• Process end-to-end Accounts Payable, including coding, approvals, and payments.
• Handle reconciliations for both vendor statements (AP) and bank deposits (AR).
• Maintain accurate records and update reporting requirements, as needed.
• Monitor payment schedules (AP) and aging reports (AR).
• Work cross functionally with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal employees to resolve issues as they arise.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and exposure to month-end responsibilities.
• Experience working with large/midsize ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Intacct, or similar).
• Solid Excel stills and experience working with high-volume data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
