Job Title: Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Location: South Bend, IN (Hybrid)

Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 7.5% bonus

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday) to join a growing financial services organization undergoing continued HRIS optimization and system enhancement initiatives. This is a high-impact role serving as the Workday subject matter expert, responsible for system configuration, advanced reporting, and driving improvements across HR technology and data governance.

This individual will partner closely with HR leadership, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions. The role is heavily focused on Workday HCM configuration, reporting, security, and HR process optimization, with ownership of end-to-end system enhancements from ideation through deployment.


Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday HCM expert for configuration, optimization, and ongoing system support

• Design, build, and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields

• Lead end-to-end Workday system enhancements from requirements gathering through testing and production rollout

• Partner with HR and business leaders to improve and streamline HR workflows and processes

• Support compensation and performance management cycles within Workday

• Conduct HRIS audits and maintain strong data governance and system integrity standards

• Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis for HRIS-related problems

• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT on system improvements and integrations

• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process efficiency within Workday

• Support enterprise reporting initiatives including dashboards, talent reporting, and executive metrics


Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive HR and/or HRIS experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on HRIS experience within a Workday environment (or equivalent deep Workday experience)

• Strong Workday HCM configuration experience (required)

• Advanced experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, and calculated fields (required)

• Experience supporting compensation and/or performance cycles in Workday

• Strong understanding of HR processes, organizational structure, and HR data flow

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in corporate or professional services environments (required)


Preferred

• Experience with Workday integrations (Payroll, benefits, vendors, or finance systems)

• Exposure to HR analytics tools and executive-level dashboard reporting

• Prior experience in an HRBP role transitioning into HRIS (ideal background)

• Interview Process: HR screen → virtual hiring manager interview → onsite panel
