As a key member of the growing finance and accounting team, you’ll take ownership of core accounting activities, drive process improvements, and collaborate with business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes in compliance with GAAP, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets
- Lead month-end close activities and support project accounting
- Prepare and analyze reports such as ad hoc financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and cash balance forecasts
- Drive process improvements by documenting, standardizing, and enhancing accounting procedures and efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions that support project accounting and the monthly close process
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency transactions (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA designation (preferred)
