About the Company:

A large, well-established organization that supports individuals and families through a range of human services programs. The team is collaborative, mission-focused, and committed to high standards.

Job Description:

We're looking for a Program Manager to run professional certification programs within our Learning and Development team. You'll guide employees from sign-up through certification, keep programs organized and on schedule, and use participant data and feedback to make each cycle better than the last. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys developing adult learners and thrives on both coaching and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage certification programs from start to finish, including recruitment cycles, enrollment, onboarding, scheduling, materials, study sessions, exam milestones, and completion requirements
  • Work with department leaders to determine certification priorities, identify potential participants, and explain time commitments, milestones, and available support
  • Check in regularly with participants, track their progress, and offer coaching and problem-solving help
  • Spot missed milestones or participation challenges early and escalate them when needed
  • Lead small-group study sessions and arrange additional resources that build confidence and peer learning
  • Keep programs documented with up-to-date calendars, records, and reports covering enrollment, participation, exam attempts, pass rates, and time to certification
  • Analyze program data to uncover trends and recommend practical improvements
  • Serve as the liaison with external certifying bodies and internal partners on requirements, schedules, and changes
  • Build and maintain consistent processes, templates, and communications across departments
  • Support long-term planning by reviewing workforce changes, certification expirations, and participation trends, and share emerging risks and opportunities with L&D leadership
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness and refine the program

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience coordinating programs, projects, professional development, certification activities, or learning initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Comfort working with program data and reporting
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in human resources, education, organizational development, business administration, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree)
  • Preferred: experience supporting adult learners, employee development, or professional certification programs
  • Preferred: background in healthcare or human services
