About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, to identify an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support multi-site operations. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to leadership in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate closely with executive leadership and department managers to support company-wide HR initiatives and workforce strategy. This position will oversee key areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training and development, safety initiatives, and vendor partnerships related to HR services and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with leadership teams across operations, finance, and sales to support organizational goals and employee initiatives
• Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts for multiple business units
• Support employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives
• Manage relationships with PEO partners related to benefits, compliance, compensation, and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations, including exposure to Canadian labor standards preferred
• Assist with employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
• Coordinate and deliver employee training and development programs, including safety-related initiatives
• Support union-related communication and labor relations activities for Canadian operations
• Analyze HR processes and recommend improvements to support operational efficiency
• Participate in company events, administrative projects, and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
• SHRM certification preferred
• 5 years of HR experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment
• Experience supporting unionized environments strongly preferred
• Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance standards
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
• Experience supporting multi-site or multinational operations is a plus
