Job Description
The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations, ensuring smooth execution of core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR systems administration. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and system updates
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and partnering with leadership as needed
- Assist with benefits administration and leave tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations
- Prepare HR reports and assist with internal audits
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and processing
- Contribute to process improvements within HR operations
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
