Job Description
The HR and Benefits Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR and benefits-related questions, assist with open enrollment preparation, and oversee vendor and benefits administration activities. The role also supports compliance audits, policy updates, and employee onboarding to ensure a seamless HR experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee HR and benefits inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate open enrollment preparation and provide ongoing support to employees during the process.
- Manage vendor relationships and act as a liaison with benefits providers.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance activities related to benefits programs.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and employee surveys to enhance engagement.
- Partner with leadership to update HR policies and implement process improvements.
- Ensure accurate communication of benefits, wellness programs, and leave administration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with payroll, finance, and other internal departments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR operations with a strong background in benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP strongly preferred); ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Solid understanding of health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to resolve employee questions independently.
- Contract length: 3 months with potential for permanent hire.
