- Support day-to-day IT operations by handling user onboarding/offboarding tasks, including provisioning access and updating directories.
- Prepare workstations for new employees—build devices, stage software, and coordinate any shipping or desk-side setup needs.
- Keep identity and access systems organized and up to date, ensuring group memberships, permissions, and directory structures stay accurate.
- Use scripting tools (such as PowerShell) and AI-driven automation to streamline repetitive work and reduce manual tasks.
- Manage incoming technical requests, assessing urgency, resolving issues, and escalating when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager on more advanced initiatives when workload allows.
- Gradually expand responsibilities as automated workflows reduce ticket volume and system maintenance time.
- Solid background in general IT support with strong troubleshooting instincts.
- Experience handling identity management tasks in platforms like Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of cloud and productivity ecosystems (Azure, Entra, Office 365).
- Prior scripting or automation experience is a plus, especially with PowerShell.
- Quick to learn new automation and AI tools and apply them to real operational needs.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Clear communicator who can coordinate with teammates across different time zones.
