What You’ll Do
- Co-create new membership activities tied to mission and member priorities
- Plan execute content-rich events: timelines, logistics, vendors, budgets, on-site coordination
- Secure speakers, panels, and sponsors; coordinate with internal teams and external partners
- Track registration data, refine audience insights, and optimize attendance
- Manage budgets, financial records, and vendor relationships to hit revenue/expense targets
- Oversee production: agendas, run-of-show, floor plans, volunteer staffing
- Drive continuous improvement via post-event analysis and team collaboration
Must-Haves:
- 4–5 years in event planning / project coordination (content-driven or membership orgs a plus)
- Proven success with speaker/panel coordination, sponsor outreach, budget tracking
- Salesforce Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook); virtual/hybrid platforms = bonus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
- A creative strategist who spots opportunities and brings fresh ideas
- Proactive detail-obsessed—comfortable juggling multiple timelines
- A polished communicator who builds relationships with execs, vendors, and volunteers
- Team-oriented with a bias for action and measurable impact
