What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage daily dredging operations to meet production targets
- Supervise and support the dredge crew, fostering a strong safety culture
- Maintain and troubleshoot dredging equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations through regular inspections and best practices
- Track production metrics and maintain accurate logs and reports
- Collaborate with logistics, engineering, and site management teams to align operational goals
- Proven experience managing dredging or mining operations
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic/mechanical dredge systems, pumps, and heavy equipment
- Ability to solve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant certifications in marine safety, equipment operation, or dredging (preferred)
- Comfortable working in remote field locations and adjusting to evolving site needs
