Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations of patients
- Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatments for substance use disorders
- Collaborate with counselors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make clinical decisions to optimize treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication adherence, and relapse prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in North Carolina
- Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
