Addiction Recovery Coalition of New Hampshire is a Community Recovery Center (ARCNH CRC) in Milford, NH that treats substance use disorder (SUD) by providing a central location for access to local support systems. Our personal experiences with SUD drive our passion and urgency in addressing this epidemic using a peer-to-peer based approach. With so many pathways to recovery available, we guide individuals in finding the pathway that feels most aligned with their values and needs. We offer one-on-one recovery coaching, group programming, veteran support, family support and care coordination with hundreds of services and resources in the greater recovery community.
The ARCNH Community Recovery Center opened in May 2020 and launched their Peer Recovery Coach Program in January 2021. As demand for the program continues to grow, ARCNH is seeking a motivated individual to further build the program. The Recover Coach will support continued development, implementation and ongoing operations of the ARCNH Peer Recovery Coach Program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience:
- Providing peer support services to individuals with SUD
- Assessing appropriate level of care for individuals seeking SUD treatment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Familiar with recovery support resources that serve the greater Souhegan Valley region of New Hampshire as well as the town of Merrimack
- Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system
- Experience documenting organization processes and policies
- Experience working in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Be available at the ARCNH during your scheduled hours.
- Meet with current clients on a regular basis as necessary for individual needs and respond to their correspondence in a timely manner.
- Work progressively on wellness plans and other client goals.
- Add new clients as requested by the ARCNH
- Maintain all records and files and adapt to changing coaching tools and data collection practices.
- Follow all privacy regulations as outlined by ARCNH and ensure that all clients understand and follow them as well.
- Maintain a current knowledge of all available resources and recovery paths.
- Make every effort to contribute to the growing collection of knowledge and resources at ARCNH.
- Time at the office should be spent reading, researching, working on projects as directed, or otherwise assisting in the operation of the resource center; when not in session with a client.
- Assist with the development and implementation of all support programs.
- Build up libraries and resources for clients and staff
- Adheres to all ARCNH policies, procedures and values and daily operational rules and standards.
- Recruit volunteer Recovery Coaches to provide peer support services.
- Assist the ARCNH team with promotion of the program to the community.
- Plan and lead events designed to recruit individuals seeking recovery into the program.
- Provide consultation to community members interested in ARCNH services.
- Provide assessment, intake and referral services to individuals seeking recovery.
- Provide regular updates to management reporting the progress of program development and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Participate in 12-24 hours of continuing education per year.
- Participate in ARCNH sposored events
