Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple business functions while partnering with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies. This individual will oversee external recruiting partnerships, manage a small recruiting team, and help establish best practices that improve recruiting effectiveness, efficiency, and the overall candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, document, and continuously improve end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including requisition intake, sourcing strategy, candidate experience, interview process design, and offer management.
- Own and manage the RPO vendor relationship, including performance metrics, pipeline quality, fill rates, and cost-per-hire, holding the partner accountable to company standards.
- Directly manage and develop two Sourcing Recruiters, setting goals, providing coaching, and ensuring consistent execution of sourcing strategy.
- Lead full lifecycle recruiting for Engineering, Construction, and Manufacturing roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand technical and trade-specific hiring needs.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and specialized roles.
- Partner with HR leadership on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and recruitment budget management.
- Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline conversion, etc.) to drive continuous improvement and inform leadership decision-making.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints, from first contact through onboarding handoff.
- Manage relationships with supplemental search firms and staffing vendors as needed, evaluating performance and value.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations throughout the recruiting process.
- Champion the company's employer brand and culture throughout the candidate journey.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting for technical, operational, industrial, or professional positions.
- Previous leadership experience or experience mentoring recruiters.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience partnering with third-party recruiting firms or external recruiting vendors.
- Experience helping build or improve recruiting processes within a growing organization.
- Background supporting organizations undergoing growth or organizational change.
