Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing signage projects from pre-sale consultation through fabrication and installation. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with design and quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination across internal teams, clients, and external partners to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
  • Develop a clear understanding of project scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
  • Review of contracts and project documentation
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to establish communication with clients and external stakeholders
  • Define tasks, timelines, and dependencies to build detailed project plans
Project Execution
  • Oversee all phases of project activity, including:
     
    • Shop drawing review and development
  •  
    • Submission of drawings, samples, and documents
  •  
    • Pre-production planning and approvals
  •  
    • Production release and fabrication monitoring
  •  
    • Scheduling coordination (internal and external teams)
  •  
    • Procurement of specialty materials
  •  
    • Vendor coordination and subcontracting (especially installation)
  •  
    • Shipping and installation logistics
  •  
Monitoring & Control
  • Track project progress against schedule and budget
  • Identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate project updates, delays, and resolutions to stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough and organized project documentation
  • Manage and implement change orders
Financial Oversight
  • Oversee project billing and support accounting as needed
  • Review job cost analysis and identify variances
  • Develop action plans to improve project performance
Project Closeout
  • Ensure delivery of all required closeout documentation (e.g., warranties, manuals, as-built drawings)
  • Support quality assurance standards throughout project lifecycle

Additional Responsibilities
  • Complete company orientation and safety training
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required Experience

  • Experience in the sign industry (including channel letters and sign cabinets)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer interaction skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • 2-5 years project management experience 
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Epicor or similar industry software is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
  • Ability to walk job sites, use stairs, and perform light physical activity as needed
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a team-oriented environment

Schedule & Benefits
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Work Environment: Casual business attire

Salary : $68,000 - $95,000
