Position Overview
We’re hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to lead and scale our outbound prospecting efforts. This role is ideal for a sales development pro with 3 years of experience and is HubSpot-savvy, technically inclined, and eager to build systems that drive efficiency and results. This role offers a clearly defined career path into Field Marketing or Sales, providing long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect Public Sector Leads: Drive top-of-funnel activity through outbound email and call outreach to decision-makers in courts, utilities, and other government departments.
- Data-Driven Outreach: Develop automated HubSpot sequences, segmented lists, conduct A/B testing of messages, and analyze conversion metrics to continuously improve performance.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Marketing on campaign integration and with Sales on qualification criteria, handoffs, and territory targeting.
- Mentor and Lead by Example: Contribute to process documentation and help establish outbound best practices for future team growth.
- Path to Promotion: Prepare for a role in either Field Marketing or Sales through hands-on execution, system design, and cross-functional collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound-focused roles (B2B required; GovTech or Public Sector is a plus).
- Advanced experience with HubSpot (sequences, reporting, lead scoring, CRM hygiene).
- Technically inclined: fluent in marketing automation, CRM integrations, and digital prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Demonstrated success building outbound programs that scale.
- Strong writing and communication skills; comfortable testing and iterating messaging.
- Process-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
