Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Car Hauler to transport vehicles between different locations. The ideal candidate will have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a proven track record of safe and efficient driving. The Car Hauler will be responsible for loading, securing, and transporting vehicles using a variety of trailers, ensuring that all safety standards and regulations are met.

Beginning salary starts @ $1200/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles onto transport trailers using winches, chains, and straps
• Drive and operate transport trailers, including maneuvering in tight spaces and navigating through traffic
• Ensure the proper placement and securing of vehicles on the trailer to prevent damage during transport
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking tire pressure, brakes, and fluid levels
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating the transport vehicle
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and transport logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
• Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate transport trailers and handle different types of vehicles
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and move vehicles, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods of time
  
  

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a car hauler or similar role preferred
• Completion of a commercial driving school or equivalent training program preferred
