Job Summary: AdCare Home Health Services, LLC In-Home Aides shall provide an array of hands-on services to Clients in accordance with the written plan of care in the comfort of their home or place of residence. The In-Home Aide shall follow instructions for the Client care written by the Registered Nurse/ Service Supervisor. These individuals need assistance with essential home management tasks, personal care task, or supervision of the Client’s activities of Daily Living in order to avoid placement in Adult Home Care or Nursing Home. This is a part-time position. The hours vary according to the needs of the Client as indicated on the In-Home Service plan and may range from 10 to 39 hours a week.
Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Report to: Registered Nurse/Service Supervisor
Duties: Provides various home care services to In-Home Clients.

Essential Job Function:
· Assist Client with personal hygiene (bathing, shampoo, shaving, and oral hygiene)
· Plans and prepares nutritious normal diets and modified diets as prescribed by physician
· Assists with activities of daily living which include dressing, ambulation, toileting, and safe transfer techniques as directed by the RN Supervisor
· Works with other community agencies involved with Client as directed by the RN Supervisor
· Carries out his/her assignments as instructed by the care plan established by the RN /Supervisor and reports to the nurse when he/she is unable to do so
· Reports changes in Client’s condition or home situation immediately to the RN /Supervisor or Agency director
· Prepares a report of visit on the day it is preformed and submits weekly to the RN Supervisor
· Performs routine housekeeping tasks as related to a safe and comfortable environment for the Client, as instructed by the RN Supervisor
· Respects the cultural and religious practices of the Client and Family
· Practices honesty, dependability, and confidentiality in all Client and Family matters
· Caring for Clients with special condition and needs so long as the services provided are within the scope of the task authorized to be performed by demonstration
· Home Management; Home Safety and Sanitation
· Infection Control in home
· Medically related activities to include the taking of vital signs
Requirements:
· Education: Current ValidCertified Nursing Assistance License
· Must be 18 years or older and ability to read and write consistent with job requirements.
· Must Have reliable Transportation
· One year experience as an in home care preferred
· Certificate of formal training preferred
Job Types: Full-time, PRN
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
