Personal Computer Support Technician

Position Summary
The Personal Computer Support Technician provides IT and cybersecurity liaison services to the MPF, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of computer systems, networks, and related equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as Functional Systems Administrator (FSA) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for MPF systems.
Configure new computers, install and update software/hardware, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Maintain LAN equipment, servers, and user accounts for MILPDS and other personnel systems.
Ensure compliance with Air Force COMPUSEC, CDA, and TEMPEST program requirements.
Perform cybersecurity updates, virus protection maintenance, and security audits.
Coordinate with the Communications Squadron for advanced technical support.
Maintain inventory and accountability of IT equipment assigned to the MPF.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of IT support experience.
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and Air Force network systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MILPDS, RAPIDS, and Air Force-specific IT systems.
