What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Equipment Operator position at ADAY2FARM, LLC?
We farm organic corn and organic wheat. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of growing these crops. Most of the work involves pivot irrigation and tractor operations. Employees will need to start and stop wells, clean nozzles for sprinklers, repair mechanical sprinkler break downs. Employees will also need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and irrigation systems including changing flat tires on sprinklers. Complete pre-inspection checks on tractors before operating. Knowledge of operating cultivators, row crop tractors, large 4-wheel drive tractors and must be able to detach and attach plows. Complete repairs on fences. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
