What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medication Aide/Caregiver position at Adava Care?
READ BEFORE APPLYING — This position is for Adava Care's Hartland locations (about 25 minutes west of Milwaukee, roughly 27 miles via I-94 and NOT on a bus line).
- Job: Caregiver/Mediation Aide - CBRF training preferred, training provided!
- Location: 300 E. North Shore Drive, Hartland, WI OR 1109 Cecelia Court Pewaukee, WI
- Pay: $17.00/hour to start
- Shifts: First (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Second (2:00 -10:00 PM) and Third (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM). ** ALL shifts include every other weekend. **
Before applying, please confirm that Hartland is a reliable commute for you. This role requires dependable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance. If these locations do not work for your commute, we also hire at several other Wisconsin locations and welcome your application there.
What You'll Do
- Support residents with daily care (hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility, toileting)
- Administer medications
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Communicate clearly with staff, residents, and families
- Keep the building clean, safe, and within compliance standards
What We're Looking For
- CBRF certification preferred; training assistance may be provided
- Must pass a caregiver background check
- Strong attendance and professionalism
- Compassionate and reliable team player
