Vice President, Finance / Controller – Epicor Kinetic

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance / Controller to lead the financial function of a growing manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, compliance, and financial strategy.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader who wants to play a key role in improving financial operations, systems, and business performance while serving as a trusted partner to executive leadership.
The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing finance experience, hands-on Epicor Kinetic expertise, and the ability to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, AP/AR, and internal controls.
- Oversee monthly and annual financial close and provide accurate financial reporting to executive leadership.
- Develop P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
- Manage banking relationships, lender compliance, tax, insurance, and external audit activities.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage Epicor Kinetic to improve financial visibility, reporting, and business processes.
- Support ERP optimization, integrations, and other technology initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis for pricing, capital investments, contracts, acquisitions, and strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
- Hands-on Epicor Kinetic experience required.
- Manufacturing or similarly operationally complex industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or process optimization preferred.
- Private equity and lender compliance experience is a plus.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on financial management with strategic business partnership.
