This is a direct hire, permanent placement position for a client of AdAstra Talent Advisors.
About the RoleAs Head of Talent Acquisition, you will develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent, while leading the recruitment function across the company. We are looking for someone to own full-cycle recruiting across diverse skill sets spanning QARA, biology, mechanical engineering, ML, and hardware specialists, partnering closely with technical team members. We are looking to bring on an individual with exceptional search craft as evidenced by a track record of success in building exceptional teams and a relentless drive to raise the talent bar.
Responsibilities- Act as a strategic partner to technical teams to determine and fill gaps urgently.
- Develop and implement global or regional talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and critical role prioritization.
- Run expert intakes; translate scientific and engineering needs into clear, calibrated role definitions and search strategies.
- Build proactive pipelines and talent maps; close company needs on tight timelines; engage exceptional talent across communities.
- Partner with hiring teams to design high-signal candidate evaluation tactics and execute effective closing strategies.
- Lead candidate closes end-to-end, from initial touchpoint through acceptance.
- Implement a data-driven approach to inform broader organizational processes such as workforce and compensation planning.
- Enhance the company’s brand to attract diverse talent pools and create a positive candidate experience.
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to influence technical team members and company
leaders. - Expertise in technical sourcing and recruitment technology.

Leadership experience in global or high-growth organizations.
- Background in BCI/neurotech, biotech, or AI is a plus.
